CHRISTINE IS A JOY. SHE IS HEPFUL, RESPONSIVE AND MOST PLEASANT. GAIL ALWAYS CALLS TO WELCOME US AND TO CHECK THAT ALL IS WELL AT THE HOUSE AND THAT WE ARE SETTLED.

WE HAVE ENJOYED TREEHAVEN FOR THE PAST 4 YEARS AND HAVE ALREADY BOOKED THE PROPERTY FOR TWO WEEKS NEXT FALL. IT IS A DELIGHTFUL HOME FILLED WITH PERSONAL TOUCHES. WE FEEL AS THOUGH WE ARE STAYING AT OUR OWN HOME OR THAT OF A CLOSE FRIEND RATHER THAN A VACATION RENTAL UNIT. FABULOUS LOCATION! CLOSE TO THE BLUE RIDGE PKWY, BLOWING ROCK AND MANY POINTS OF INTEREST. WE LOVE THE SECLUDED WOODED LOT. LIFE IN THE TREES IS GOOD!

The process was seem less, which is a bonus having driven 5 hours to get here. Obtaining the key was the easiest we've ever experienced. Christine was great and was very receptive to our needs when the internet happened to go down.

Our family of four stayed at the Flying Pig Lodge for the first two weeks of August. We drove several hours to get there and were pleasantly surprised with the key exchange and with the location of the home, being so close to Boone and Blowing Rock. We loved the overall feel of the house, it being tucked away on top of a fairly private area with neighbors in sight but not too close. The home was absolutely perfect and it was obvious that great care went into building the home, as the quality of the craftsmanship was remarkable. Plus, it was exceptionally clean. The home was wonderfully furnished and well appointed with all the amenities that you would expect from a well cared for residence. The basement was great, very cozy and playful. The kitchen was functional, but lacked adequate space for dry goods due to the owners having locked a few of the cupboards. That said, we still were able to negotiate the kitchen with ease and found all the items we needed. The home is literally 5min from Boone necessities and only 15min from Blowing Rock attractions, which was extremely convenient. I personally found it most endearing that you could hear the faint whistle of the Tweetsie Railroad off in the distance most times during the day. We used the fire pit, the hammock, the swing on the front porch, the games and most everything else that was provided. The home was a welcomed retreat from our days out and about, and was wonderful for simply "chilling out" on a rainy day. We will be back.

Your staff was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of questions and called/emailed several times to compare different properties. They were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The response time to my emails and calls were very prompt and the reservation process was very quick and simple.

Our third time in this property, and certainly won't be the last. I dream of staying in this place for months at a time. Some day!

Christine Thacker was very accommodating! I contacted her just a few weeks before our vacation time, and she provided us with several properties that fit our needs and wants. It was a difficult choice to make because all of the properties were very nice. Christine answered all of our questions, and is very friendly! Super helpful!

Beautiful, relaxing property! Loved drinking my morning coffee on the front porch staring out at the mountains! Appreciated the fact that our four-legged fury friend could come relax with us too.

We had a great time. We loved the location and being able to walk to Hebron falls. We will definitely be back.

We enjoyed staying in this cabin and will be visiting again for sure next summer and hope to come back this fall. We loved the front porch!!! It was so nice sitting out there, furniture was very comfortable!! All of the decorations were just perfect inside the cabin. It was very comfortable for our family!!

Very friendly and easy to work with. Having been in the hospitality business for 38 year,s you can almost immediately know if you are working with a first class organization that cares for the renter. This is a first class operation.

Nice property that was well appointed and very clean. Had a problem with the air conditioning in the prime July period when it is very difficult to get any HVAC personnel as they are very busy. The office personnel worked with my family in getting the problem solved. They let us know about appointment times and followed up to see that the work was done. Having COPD, air conditioning is not optional... it is very much needed. The rental management offered to let me stay in another property overnight when repairs stretched out over several days.. Thank you for your hospitality. Having caring people that give you full assistance is a big plus.

We loved the cabin. We were traveling with 6 retired school principals. This cabin was close to so many great restaurants and shops as well as the beautiful mountains. We loved it! We loved the outside back porch and spent a lot of time out there. Great view of the mountains!

Dillard cabin is a wonderful place to stay! The location is perfect and the property is beautiful. My family had a great time hanging out together in the cabin and touring Blowing Rock and Boone. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Awesome people to work with!

We are going to make "Away from it All" an annual vacation stop. We fell in love with the property! Our favorite feature was the living room/kitchen area. It was so comfortable and cozy. The stream was our kids favorite as they played hard!

The team members were very helpful and pleasant.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The upstairs loft needs air conditioning. The dining room needs more chairs. The lights (including night lights) need to be checked.

Christine is the best!

I spoke to two staff members after we checked out because we thought we left something in the condo. They were both extremely helpful and friendly. One of them even went back to the condo herself to see if she could find it.

It was wonderful. We hated to leave, and can't wait to come back. We would love it if we were able to bring our dog to stay at a condo at Chetola. He is small, and we would be able to stay longer, so we wish they would make some exceptions to their no pet policy.
