I worked with Laurie to secure the property and she was excellent. She then was not around for July because she was hiking the AT - so jealous. During the summer and the signing of the contract for 2026 I worked with a very young woman - sorry I forgot her name - but Monday was her last day. She was also wonderful and enjoyable to work and speak with. I also worked with Gail Smart, the owner, and she was so helpful to get me a new rental for next year by speaking with the owner about my stay.

I loved the property so much I was prepared to rent it for the entire summer next year. Instead, I am renting one of your smaller, not as special property - but adequate. Sorry the owner is selling.

The only negative was that we had to call to get the digital guestbook and it contained incorrect access codes.

The views, the views, the views!!!! We loved staying at Treehaven. The hot tub was so nice after hiking. The robes were a nice touch. The kitchen was fully stocked, home was very clean, and the views are amazing!!! It was so close to downtown Blowing Rock but we felt really far away. It was quiet and peaceful.

The communication and check in/check out instructions covered all the details. It couldnt have been a better experience!

We have visited Blowing Rock many times, but this was our first stay in Penthouse A on Main. We hit a jackpot and cant wait to return again in the future! Perfect location and so comfortable! Our weather wasnt great during our stay, but we enjoyed a staycation in the Penthouse.

Skyfall was such a great property! We loved that this is a passive-built home and the views were gorgeous! The beds were so comfortable and provided much needed rest after working construction all day! We cannot thank the owners enough for donating their home for us to be able to help rebuild a family's home.

We loved it! The only suggestion i would have is that the downstairs walk-in shower needs some sort of shelf/hanging rack for shampoo and soap! Drawers, shelf space, etc was perfect! We felt like we lost a lot of rental time with the late checkin (4pm) and earlier than usual check out of 10 am. I understand a crew has to clean but those were unusual checkin/out times for us.

This was our second year at Deer View Lodge. We love it. The amenities are fantastic. Its perfect for large families.

Laurie was wonderful to work with, and very accommodating. It is hard to tell, when booking online, the exact location for the rentals, and I wanted to be sure the location was close to my home. I told Laurie about my situation, and where I lived and she identified some properties that would be close.

I would have stayed at this property for an additional 2 months, had it been available. It was perfect: Close to home, Furnished comfortably, short walk to all the restaurants and shops of downtown BR, yet quiet and private, with plenty of parking.
