Stayed in Penthouse B with some friends for an App Game last fall, wanted to try Penthouse A for my husband and myself for the weekend. Convenience was perfect!!! The Penthouse was super clean and we had all the amenities we could ever need! There was only 1 hiccup during our stay; On Saturday evening we took showers after we got back into town, and there was very little hot water. Not sure if there's been any problems with the hot water heater, but it may need to be looked at. Thanks!

We love this home so much, we said if we were to ever build in the mountains we would just duplicate it! Cant wait to come back with friends! Thanks for letting us checkout a title later today to enjoy it some more.

The downstairs space was pretty cold. The stairway down to the bottom floor is very steep and should be carefully considered for persons who have stability issues and for pets.

Would highly recommend the Bark Bungalow to anyone! We loved our stay and cant wait to be back. The only issue was the igniter on the grill didnt work. Looking forward to coming back in the future!

We originally rented this home in early December and did not purchase travel insurance. Oddly enough, an unusually early major winter storm came through and Blowing Rock Properties reached out to us the week prior to our arrival. They offered to refund our money or reschedule our vacation even though we did not purchase the travel insurance. That is truly above and beyond good customer service!! We were grateful and we will DEFINITELY rent with Blowing Rock Properties again and again!!!! Great folks!!!

You will not find any better view of the mountains than Bell A Vista!!! The Main Floor Master Bedroom furniture was not as pictured, but it was comfortable enough. An incredible home with unbelievable views. Very spacious and entertaining property. We slept 8 people quite comfortably and we will definitely be renting this property again!!!!

This was 2nd time renting this property. 1st time was 4 years ago so we new what to expect. Love the location: short drive to town, but still quiet and serene. Creeks provide soothing sounds. Property has not changed significantly in 4 years. Interior very well maintained; everything was clean and working as expected. Exterior due for update. Many of the quaint birdhouses falling apart; foliage ready for pruning. But overall had excellent stay. Our favorite part of property has always been the great room with pool table.

We enjoyed our stay at Segals Nest. The only thing I would suggest is improvement in the houseware (kitchen utensils).

Great experience.

This home was spacious and clean, and has the log cabin charm that you want when visiting the mountains, without sacrificing comfort. Fireplace in the living room was a great gathering place for wine and conversation. The dining room table gave us space for meals, as well as puzzles and games. We used the television upstairs by the fireplace the most, but the downstairs living area with large screen TV was also a great feature. The kitchen was well stocked with cookie sheets, pans, skillets, and utensils. We would like to return in the spring and enjoy the large porch area and grill. The location is convenient to Boone shops and restaurants.

This was our 4th time booking with Blowing Rock Properties. They are very friendly and helpful when the property I wanted wasn't available.

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The place was very cozy and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

I live in a loghouse too...so I can compare. This is a beautiful house in a nice location.

A beautiful loghouse!! Having dry firewood is a plus!!
